Marco Lloyd brings over 30 years of experience helping clients navigate the four cornerstones of wealth: planning, investments, preservation, and trust and estate services through affiliates. He works closely with clients to develop strategies that build, manage, preserve, and transition wealth across generations. After serving in several Branch Manager roles and spending 24 years with Wells Fargo Advisors, Marco launched Sugar Creek Wealth LLC under the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network platform. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to personalized guidance remain at the core of his practice as he continues to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Marco is a decorated combat veteran having served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corp. He graduated from Albright College with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Old Dominion University. He also holds the PIM Portfolio Manager designation.

Marco is active with Hiring Our Heroes (HOH), a Wells Fargo initiative connecting the military community with American businesses. Marco and his wife Amy have been married over 25 years and are the proud parents of Chad, Zachary and Lexi.

A lifelong Houstonian with 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Director-Wealth Advisor, John Caram brings extensive expertise and a genuine passion for helping others navigate their financial futures. John thrives on working closely with clients and colleagues, offering thoughtful guidance rooted in decades of industry insight. He is also fluent in Spanish, which allows him to connect with and support an even broader range of clients and community members.

Outside the office, John is an avid traveler, enthusiastic foodie, and dedicated hiker who loves exploring new places. He also enjoys time on the golf course whenever he gets the chance. Married to his wife, Suzanne, for more than 35 years, John is a proud father to one daughter and one son, and a delighted grandfather to one grandchild.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Trinity University and an MBA from St. Thomas University, foundations that have supported his long and successful career in the industry.

William “Bill” Hawker has built a 30-year career in wealth management and investment consulting, including experience in the institutional fixed income market focusing on mid-sized banks and insurance companies. Bill joined Wells Fargo in 2008 and has spent the last 10 years with the team. Bill’s first step in the investment planning process is to help clients define their goals and then assess the options to achieve the goals within the client’s specific risk tolerance. Bill’s strategy continues with adjusting and adapting to ever changing markets.

Bill is a graduate of Houston Baptist University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics. He and his wife Nicole have been married for over 26 years and have two sons, Kendall and Kannon. Bill’s commitment to his community includes being a 10-year volunteer with Lunches of Love, as well as dedicating time to Feed the Need Mission. The Hawkers are members of Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Sugar Land, Texas. Outside of serving the community professionally and personally, Bill enjoys supporting the Everton Football Club.

Kris began her wealth management career in 1998 and has been with Wells Fargo predecessor firms for the past 25 years. Kris views planning as the foundation of any client relationship. She works with clients to develop a comprehensive plan and determine the appropriate investment vehicles to help achieve the client’s goals.  All done with the mindset of preserving and growing the client’s wealth.

Kris is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and is able to provide additional insight to clients through the life event of divorce. This includes understanding the client’s cash flow needs and determining which marital assets are best suited for the particular financial circumstances. Kris excels in bringing compassion during the difficult time of needing to rebuild one’s investment plan.

Kris graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution and continues to be active with A&M former student organizations. Kris and her husband Jeff have 4 sons, 1 daughter, two daughters-in-law and her two grandsons. Outside of the office, she devotes time as a board member of The Parks Youth Ranch as well as The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County. She is also a parishioner and lector at St. Laurence Catholic church.  Kris enjoys cooking and organizing the next big event for friends and family.

Nitin Kapadia has over 30 years’ experience in investment planning and is currently a Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor with Sugar Creek Wealth. Nitin joined Wells Fargo in 2009 and is dedicated to assisting individuals and business owners in developing strategies to manage their retirement planning, estate investment planning, risk management and allocation and portfolio construction and management. Nitin stresses a conservative and disciplined approach to investing and emphasizes a broad approach in determining one’s goals, while understanding the client’s risk tolerance. 

Nitin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bombay University, India and holds the PIM Portfolio Manager. He and his wife Ameeta have two children, daughter, Urvi, and son, Shanay, as well as two granddaughters, Ria & Lara. Nitin’s focus and dedication extend beyond the office as well. He enjoys building furniture for personal use, building smaller items for gifts and improving his black & white portrait photography skills. Additionally, Nitin delves into cuisines from around the world, adapting them for vegetarian dishes, soups and sauces.

Michael joined Sugar Creek Wealth in 2023. In his role as Vice President, Wealth Advisor, Michael is excited to work with the next generation of clients and continue a legacy of excellence. Every client has unique circumstances and requirements, and Michael is solutions-oriented to help meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Michael comes from a family of financial advisors, first with his grandfather, then followed by his mother. His close relationships with them nurtured his drive to learn, serve and help others succeed. Michael graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Media Studies. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Ginny, and they have two cats and two dogs. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys woodworking, technology, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Alex Updyke, Vice President – Wealth Advisor, works with individuals, families, and business owners to build, preserve, and transition wealth in alignment with their financial goals. His tailored approach integrates investment management, tax‑aware strategies, and estate planning. He brings an institutional background and a strong investment perspective to his role as a wealth advisor. Prior to joining the firm, Alex spent eight years at Hines, a Houston‑based global real estate developer and investment manager. During his tenure, he held various roles in investor relations and due diligence, collaborating closely with investors and senior leadership on capital raising, investment analysis, and fund formation.

A native Texan, Alex graduated from Texas State University with a BBA in Finance. He and his wife, Jessica, are proud parents of two children, Hayes and Ophelia. Outside of his professional work, he is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling with family and friends.

Bruce Piccirillo, Wealth Advisor, is a seasoned financial advisor whose passion for the industry has only grown over the course of his 50‑year career. With more than 30 years at Wells Fargo Advisors, he thrives on the challenges of the financial landscape and brings an enduring enthusiasm for the business, the markets, and the opportunity to help clients build confidence in their financial future. Across five decades in the financial services industry, Bruce has guided clients through shifting market cycles, economic changes, and evolving financial goals. His depth of experience allows him to offer steady perspective, thoughtful planning, and a disciplined approach rooted in long‑term success.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bruce’s greatest pride is his family. He is a devoted father to one daughter, the apple of his eye, and his joy has only deepened with the arrival of his twin grandchildren, who bring boundless happiness into his life. A proud graduate of the University of Maryland, he remains an enthusiastic supporter of the university and especially enjoys following Maryland lacrosse and football. Go Terps! Bruce is also an avid animal lover and actively supports several animal rescue organizations.

Angela Lord, Marketing Manager, oversees the practices’ marketing initiatives, website administration, client communications, events, and office operations. With over 10 years of experience in marketing and business development, and 10 years in corporate contracts management, Angela brings a unique ability to balance creative strategy with regulatory compliance.

In addition to leading the practices’ marketing efforts, Angela supports the day-to-day needs of the office and helps ensure a seamless experience for both clients and advisors.

Outside the office, Angela enjoys trail running, ultramarathons and volunteering as a barista at her church.

Since joining Sugar Creek Wealth in 2011, Jared Crawford, Senior Registered Client Associate, has been a collaborative and knowledgeable asset to the team. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he was a Licensed Personal Banker with Wells Fargo Bank for 6 years. In his current role as Senior Registered Client Associate, Jared supports William Hawker, Director, Wealth Advisor,  with the onboarding of new client relationships, supporting existing clients and assisting with transfers to and from accounts.

Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana Tech University, a Master of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston-Victoria. Jared enjoys outdoor activities with his wife Suzanne and two sons. He’s also involved with his sons’ activities, including being a Scout Den Leader and a Scoutmaster. To relax and unwind, Jared enjoys playing guitar.

Vicki Hebert is a dedicated Client Associate who brings more than two decades of experience, heart, and reliability to her work. She joined Wells Fargo through Prudential 34 years ago and has proudly supported John Caram for 25 years, building long‑standing relationships rooted in trust, consistency, and care. Vicki thrives on helping others, connecting with clients, and solving problems with patience and clarity. She holds her Series 7, 63, 65, and insurance licenses and has been registered since 1991, reflecting her deep knowledge and commitment to her profession.

Outside the office, Vicki enjoys spending quality time with Bryan, her husband of 20 years, their close friends, and their three beloved Yorkies Ziggy, Skipper, and Max.

Jeanne has been with Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firms for over 24 years, with the last 9 years at the Sugar Land office. As a Senior Registered Client Associate, she supports Marco Lloyd, President & Managing Director, and Nitin Kapadia, Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor, with the onboarding of new client relationships, supporting existing clients and assisting with any service needs. Over the course of her career, Jeanne has dedicated herself to going above and beyond for clients and the team alike.

In her spare time Jeanne enjoys gardening and watching cooking shows, although the cooking is left to her husband Chad. Jeanne loves being a mom to her 4 children, Danny, Haley, Caroline and James, as well as their 3 dogs, Mac, Coop and Bee.

Angela Alexander brings a high level of client service and a wealth of experience to the group. Angela supports Kris Jenkins, Director, Wealth Advisor, with the onboarding of new client relationships, supporting existing clients and assisting with transfers to and from accounts. Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2008, Angela worked in the insurance industry for 4 years and in banking for 8 years.

Although born in Philadelphia, Angela has called Houston home for as long as she can remember. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, as well as her Master of Business Administration with Honors in 2023. Outside of the office, Angela enjoys traveling with her husband and two children, listening to true crime podcasts and spoiling her labradoodle Duke.
